About me:
After completing my medical studies in Munich, I began my intensive specialist training with the internationally renowned breast cancer specialist Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Eiermann at the Frauenklinik vom Roten Kreuz in Taxisstraße. Further stations were the Josephs Hospital in Regensburg and the department of Prof. Dr. Friedrich Dittmar at the Starnberg District Hospital, which has become particularly well known for its individual and professionally outstanding obstetrics.

In 1999, I took over my father’s gynecological practice in Preysing Palais and continued the family tradition.

Our practice:
The gynecological practice, which is now run by the second generation of the Gangkofner family, is located in the Preysing Palais, a late baroque masterpiece of Munich’s architectural history.

Commissioned by Maximilian IV. Count Preysing-Hohenaschau, one of Munich’s most important city palaces was built here between 1723 and 1729. The richly stuccoed façades and the magnificent staircase inside – created by court architect Joseph Effners and stuccoer Johann Baptist Zimmermann – became the benchmark for architecture at the time.
